Negligence is NO Excuse!!!

This negligence is happening in St. Catharines too. Property owners are required to clear the public sidewalk of freshly fallen snow before their homes within 24 hours, and responsible owners do this, but they do not toss it onto an adjacent owner’s sidewalk.
There also needs to be a bylaw created to inhibit private contracters, property managers and whom these people hire, from dumping snow on to a neighbouring home’s property including the public sidewalk in front of these properties.
Negligence is no excuse, and if new bylaws are required to rectify these problems, then the municiple and town councils must adhere to the property owner’s consituntional rights by creating the required bylaw, and enforcing it.
