Romance Novelist RUSTY BLACKWOOD Congratulates the 2018 Oscar Winners …

My sincere congratulations to each 2018 Oscar winner! It seems the list of Best Film continues to grow each year, and I was glad to see Faye and Warren redeem themselves from the faux pas of last year – which wasn’t their fault – yet they were the scapegoats. Bonnie & Clyde has always been one of my favourite movies of all time – the film even started a new fashion trend when it came out in 1967 – the ‘Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow’ look and I too had a pair of ‘Bonnie shoes’.

The sets were gorgeous, and the ‘speeches’ palatable – for a change. I was expecting the usual, but everything was tastefully done. Now we shall see what this year of movies brings for next year’s award season.
