A new cycle begins, life renews itself, and we are renewed right along with it. The Easter weekend is upon us, and that is why I decided to write my end-of-the-month Newsletter a week sooner than usual. This way I can be certain my Easter wishes reach everyone. Like so many ‘firsts’ that follow the loss of someone dear, this is the first Easter without Mom, and it is celebrated rather sadly. But her spirit is forever with me, my family, and all who knew her and keep her in their hearts. In knowing this, it does help to celebrate a most beautiful and special time of the year, and now on with the news of March.
>> I’ve had a rather busy month arranging upcoming launch events for my 5-star, award winning romantic fiction drama, Willow’s Walk, and I am pleased to say that my calendar is filling in nicely. This is what a writer hopes for and works toward, and for me it has been a very long time in the making. I hope it continues, and with the stellar support of those who follow me and my work, it should.
Available in Kindle & Paperback at http://www.amazon.com/Willows-Walk-Rusty-Blackwood-ebook/dp/B018ZS1B7O/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8 , https://www.amazon.ca/Willows-Walk-Rusty-Blackwood-ebook/dp/B018ZS1B7O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1458848456&sr=8-1&keywords=willow%27s+walk, as well all Amazons worldwide. Paperback available at CreateSpace eStore: https://www.createspace.com/5680639, http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/willows-walk-rusty-blackwood/1123026408?ean=9781516987276, and E-Pub version at https://payhip.com/b/Y1Ud. In my immediate area, paperback in matte or glossy finish, is available directly from me by e-mailing me at writerrusty@hotmail.ca.
>> My first official signing for Willow’s Walk happened on March 12th at Seaway Mall COLES in Welland, Ontario. It was nice returning to this always delightful bookstore with its accommodating staff. >> As I have mentioned many times, professional Press Releases are a must, and this month is no different. My marketing rep & publicist, Don McCauley, decided to take a look at the seriousness of Internet dating, as well as online relationships and the often sad, and unsettling results that can arise. This has been an ongoing problem that unfortunately continues, and it is also one of the areas I decided to take the reader down in Willow’s Walk. This, by no-means, was intended to discourage online friendships, but rather to be cautious and approach with common sense. Many times unsuspecting, decent people can be duped, and manipulated into situations that can be totally beyond their ability to control or manage – this is if luck should be on their side to survive. If I can help to brighten the sometimes dimming light on this continuing problem, then I have done a job to be proud of. I hope each of you will pick up a copy of Willow’s Walk and read for yourself. >> The date for my reading & signing for Willow’s Walk at R&B Novel Teas in Niagara Falls has been rescheduled for April 2nd. Please take this link for information: http://allevents.in/niagara%20falls/author-visitation/978711745539367 and for those in the area I hope you can come by.
>>In April I have been asked to be a guest on Cogeco’s ‘What’s New’, a program that centers on the happenings and people of Niagara. I will be taping my segment on April 25th and will be posting the air date or dates when I have them. Later that week, on April 29th I am the featured guest on the TV portion of The Joe Show Live, an internet variety show that has long been known for its creative and entertaining guests. I have worked with Joe before, and I am looking forward to this opportunity again. I will post the air date when I have it, but you may check out Joe’s Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/JoeShowLive/timeline
>> On April 30th I have been asked to join the roaster of Indie authors at R&B Novel Teas for Authors for Indies Day http://www.novelteas.ca/. This is a yearly, national event that takes place throughout North America and shines light on all those creative, independent authors whose work is well worth your time in checking out, and I hope along with mine, you will.
At this time I would like to thank each and every one of you who continually support my work, and endeavors in the field of writing. It means so very much, for without the support you give, it would be much more difficult to maintain.
Newsletters are an excellent way of touching base, providing news, and creating interest in what I do, but if you do not wish to continue receiving this Newsletter, or wish to be removed from my mailing list, please drop me a line at my official website at www.rusty-blackwood.com or e-mail me at writerrusty@hotmail.ca with the Subject heading ‘please remove’.
