Well here we are, a couple of events under my belt, Willow releases on Amazon.com & Create Space.com, and another month draws to a close. I don’t know about you, but I find the time fleeting past as if it’s gone to hyperspace.
This month has been extremely busy, hardly any time for anything except to breathe, and there are times I feel I’ve done little of that. Events and a novel’s impending release can keep one hopping that is for sure.
Romantic fiction author Rusty Blackwood here, and I am so pleased to announce the unofficial release of my long-awaited romantic fiction drama, ‘Willow’s Walk’. The novel was released on Amazon.com at: http://www.amazon.com/Willows-Walk-Rusty-Blackwood/dp/1516987276/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8, http://www.amazon.ca/Willows-Walk-Rusty-Blackwood/dp/1516987276/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1448819516&sr=1-1&keywords=Willow%27s+Walk and Create Space at: https://www.createspace.com/5680639 and will soon be available on all Amazons worldwide, as well as Barnes & Noble. It is presently in conversion to Kindle, and will also be converted to NOOK, and Kobo. These things take time, but the novel is slated for official release on December 7th. Please watch for the exciting release!
The luscious, romantic fiction drama Willow’s Walk has been awarded 5 stars by Readers Favorite professional reviewing while still in pre-release, which I am very proud of, and I hope all that read it will agree it is worthy of its rating. I am extremely excited in knowing that we now have an Amazon ‘brick & mortar’ Bookstore in Toronto, which is such a boost for Canadian Indie authors. We’ve waited a long time for this, and I hope readers will take advantage of it!
This month saw two events for my 4 star romantic fiction drama, ‘Passions in Paris: Revelations of a Lost Diary’ and me. November 21st saw me signing limited copies at Seaway Mall COLES in Welland. It’s been awhile since I was at this store, but it is always nice to return. Bazaars and artisan events are extremely popular this time of year, and November 28th found ‘Passions’ and I taking part in the 2 Annual Ferndale Public School’s Xmas Craft Show. I was pleased to have been asked to participate, and further pleased to have been able to donate a signed copy of ‘Passions in Paris: Revelations of a Lost Diary,’ and my children’s short-story collection ‘Through the Eyes of Innocence.’ The proceeds of donations go to help the school in whatever project they are hoping to fulfill. Last year’s donations from this event helped acquire a Hydration Center for the children to be able to refill their water bottles with cool clean drinking water. I met dozens of interested shoppers, and I hope each and every one found that special something they were looking for. I was efficiently assisted by St. Catharines AVON representative, Wendy Byng, and again a huge ‘thank you’ to her! I can never stress the importance of Press Releases enough, nor can I give enough praise to the ones done by my efficient marketing rep & publicist, Don McCauley. I have been working with Don for five years, and he never ceases to produce quality each and every time out. Please take this shortened link to this month’s release: http://bit.ly/1Iajhbe
‘Passions/Revelations’ and I are pleased to be taking part in AVON’s Xmas Market to be held on December 4th from 2 – 7:30 pm at Ridley Fieldhouse, 2 Ridley Rd. in St. Catharines.

- Note: I am not hosting this event, but rather participating in it.
I hope those in the immediate Niagara area will take advantage of this splendid opportunity to pick up a specially priced, personally signed copy of this riveting 4-star romantic fiction drama for themselves, or for a never-to-be-forgotten gift for that special someone. For those in attendance, be sure to enter my give-away that day of a signed, gift-boxed copy. Just fill out a ballot and drop it in the provided box. Good luck!
I cannot say how thrilled I am to be officially releasing the riviting Willow’s Walk on December 7th. I shall be beginning the official launch tour early in the New Year. I wish to thank all those who have patiently waited for this novel to be finished and available. It’s been a very long, hard road, but I hope the wait was worth it. I always welcome feedback of any kind, and reviews are totally welcomed!
As I bring this November newsletter to a close, I would like to remind each of you to remember those less fortunate this coming Xmas season, and be both mindful, and compassionate of their needs. Unwrapped toys, warm winter coats, hats, and gloves are most needed, as well as food items of your choosing. Drop them off to participating outlets in your area, and please support the Salvation Army’s kettles. Remember, every donation helps, and makes a huge difference to families and individuals so badly in need.
And as always, support your local authors, as well as ‘all’ your local talent in the Arts!
Cheers!
Rusty 🙂

Always a delight to see what is happening and what is coming up. Such an exciting time for you.
Carol,
My best wishes to you. Great success for your new release. I have managed to fit your book in my luggage dying to hide and read it.
I wish to thank you for your kind words and wishes, Gina, they mean a lot. I hope you enjoy Passions/Revelations, and I hope the size didn’t put your suitcase ‘over-weight’ 🙂
All my best,
Rusty.
Congratulations Carol.
Thank you so much, Gina, and wonderful to hear from you!
All the best,
Rusty.
