HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
I realize this is the end of the month, and rather late to be issuing a holiday greeting, but I haven’t been working much this month on my Blog as I have spent most of it under the weather. But I am slowly gaining ground. Not much by way of news this month, no events, and I must admit I am grateful for that as I would have had to cancel, but each day is a new one, and with it increased determination to prevail.
February is going to be a very busy month for me by way of events. If you are in the Welland area of Niagara on February 7/15, please join me and a great array of vendors and artisans for the annual ‘Ladies’ Day – Women Helping Women’ event, being held from 11 am to 4 pm at David’s Anglican Church, 369 Thorold Road, Welland, Ontario. https://www.facebook.com/writerrusty/photos/a.427175992032.204195.192607652032/10153131488237033/?type=1&theater, and https://www.facebook.com/writerrusty/photos/pb.192607652032.-2207520000.1422630091./10153109929177033/?type=1&theater
Romance will definitely be in the air come February 14/15 between the hours of 5 to 11 pm in Niagara Falls, Ontario, for the ‘6th.Annual Romance & Sex Expo’ being held at Ramada Plaza, 7389 Lundy’s Lane. https://www.facebook.com/events/523885191058706/ I have been kindly asked back to discuss, and sign copies of my 4-star romantic fiction drama, ‘Passions in Paris: Revelations of a Lost Diary’ of which I am most pleased to do. Last year’s event was memorable, and I’ve not one doubt this one will be as well.
I have managed to get back to work on my new romantic drama, ‘Willow’s Walk’ which is expected for release in June of this year. The cover has been completed, and the story progresses.
January hasn’t been the best month for me, but I am reminded of the old adage ‘it could always be worse’, and so I shall pull-up my boot straps and walk on. This newsletter has been rather brief, compared to most, but at least I stay on track for my monthly news. Hope everyone is well, and managing to keep ahead of the nasty stuff that has been circling like a determined vulture looking for innocent prey, and if you have been visited by the scoundrel then I wish you a very speedy and total recovery. I would also like to thank all those who have so kindly sent well-wishes to me on Facebook. They are each uplifting and appreciated. I would also like to thank all of you who kindly and faithfully support my work in the many ways that you do. Each gesture is appreciated more than you know. And as always, support your local authors, as well as all your local talent in the Arts.
Rusty.
