Romantic fiction author Rusty Blackwood here, asking if romance is in the air along with the need to touch those whom you love that have passed-on? The veil is thinning ever so quickly, as we head toward that most often misunderstood, yet mystical time of year known as ‘All-Hallow’s Eve’ – ‘Halloween’ – most importantly,’ Samhain’ – pronounced Sow-wen. What thrills it brings, both romantic, and stimulating, but always exciting, and welcomed.
Where will you be celebrating yours? As a fictional romance writer, I often incorporate the feelings of my soul into my work along with the need to touch the soul of my readers – hopefully in the same way in which my own soul is feeling. I love this time of year, always have, for it is the time in which you truly do touch base with yourself, and those dearly departed that are still part of you, your heart, and your soul. They may be family, friends, or both, but the love you feel for them is something that does not diminish with time, nor should it, and this wondrous time of year allows each of us to once again touch each other’s heart, and soul. And so, as the spooks begin to plan their finest outing, and goblins fine-tune their voices, we step forward to welcome the season of the witch, and all the finest it has to offer.
And as always, support your local authors ( whether they be witches, ghosts, or goblins) and all your local talent in the Arts!
Rusty.
