Dear Authors, Readers, and those whom this correspondence from me may concern ….

I don’t normally speak or write on the topic concerning this post, but I have encountered now twice a supposed book reviewer supposedly reviewing for Amazon, and contacting authors with newly published work, offering them a review in return for compensation — which many do, however, the majority are reputable — but a Kimberly C. Steeves, email address loveforbooks333@gmail.com is not. Some time back, she contacted me offering to review Return to Autumn Part 1, which is the 1st of a 2-part sequel to my novel The Perils of Autumn, and I had requested her info and pricing etc, etc. In short, I did not obtain her service – however – I did send a couple of videos  to her that I had done, along with everyone else on my mailing list — all authors acquire a mailing list over time and I am no different — and the response I received from this Steeves woman was most ignorant, impertinent, and outright rude. No need whatsoever to speak to any author in the way she does. I don’t know whether it’s because I did not secure her services, or for whatever reason is stuck in her craw, but there is no acceptable excuse for the way she conducts business. If she was not interested in reading what I sent, or watching what I sent, she could simply delete it, or reply me asking to be removed from my mailing list, and word it in a respectful manner, not name calling and or speaking down.  Her first response to me was demanding I remove her, but spoken very rudely. I thought I had removed her, but her name had remained on my list, and when I sent the next video to my list it unfortunately went to her also with again most rude remarks in return. I always do my utmost to be accomodating to everyone, but whatever her problem with me, she went about it in the wrong way with me.

So, fellow authors, should you be approached by a Kimberly C. Steeves representing Love For Books 333 — somehow in accordance with Amazon — think twice about working with her. She is going to find that calling someone BITCH and telling them to rudely FUCK OFF without warrant, may result in disappearing compensation — or in the very least, limited.

Please SHARE this correspondence about, and BEWARE of the TRASH that is always lurking.

Thanks for reading,

Rusty B
