Romantic fiction author Rusty Backwoods’ February Newsletter 2013

Hey there everybody! Here we are, one day away from the end of the month – granted it’s the shortest month of the year – but it has still raced by with lightning speed. I realize I say that each time I compose a newsletter – maybe it should possibly become part of my branding – but it’s true, the time races past like a freight train down the track, so we hang on, and hope for the best. Now on to the news of this month.

>> Book-signings in my immediate area have begun once more. The first of this round found me at COLES  http://www.seawaymall.com/l6-7.html  in Welland’s busy Seaway Mall for my second collection of children’s short stories entitled, “Through the Eyes of Innocence.”

This collection is filled with unique stories based in part on my childhood growing up on my paternal grandfather’s farm in the 1950’s, and though written primarily with children in mind I’ve not a doubt they will elicit many memories  in the minds of the parents as well. This collection is available online at:    http://www.amazon.com/Through-Eyes-Innocence-Rusty-Blackwood/dp/1466466073/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1361995232&sr=8-2&keywords=rusty+blackwood, and https://www.createspace.com/3712072, or by contacting me at writerrusty@hotmail.ca

I always enjoy time representing this store, and chatting with the friendly people of Welland who always have time to stop and catch up with what’s new in the world of writing, and independent publishing. I look forward to my return to this bookstore on April 6th from 1 – 4:30 to again sign copies of this delightful children’s collection, and for those in St. Catharines, Ont. I will be at the elegant Fairview Mall’s CHAPTERS  http://www.bookstorescanada.com/company/chapters_st_catharines from 1 – 4 signing copies of “Through the Eyes of Innocence,”  so come on by and say hello.

As this month comes to a close and the month of March begins, I’d like to take this opportunity to again say thank you to each and every one of you who  continue to support my work, and my endeavors to bring it to light. And, as always, support you local authors, as well as all your local talents in the Arts. Without this support there would be no books to read, music to listen to, art to view and experience, or plays and movies to enjoy.

See you next month!

Rusty.

St, Catharines, Ontario sounds familiar. A John Tobe use to write the “Provoker” that my mother used to subscribe to.

I got into E-books early and Mobileread.com is a nice place for meeting readers and learning about E-books. Thanks for visiting my website.

      Hi Philip,

Thank you for commenting. Am I to assume that ‘John Tobe’, who you mentioned, lives in St. Catharines? I’ve not checked out the website you mentioned, but it sounds interesting. I also think it’s great that you’ve found success through Mobileread, and I wish you continued success.

      Rusty.
