Can anyone answer this one simple question, ‘where did the summer go?’ I’m sure I’m no different than anyone else when it comes to being amazed at the speed in which it has traveled, jetting past as if it’s bound and determined to break the sound barrier and befuddle the minds of those who thought it would last forever, but it’s almost over. Hope it has been a fine one for each of you. I also hope it has brought wonderful memories to savor, and now on with my August news …

>> After endless months of rubbing my tired shoulders, stretching whenever possible, scratching my head in search of ‘the’ right words, sentences, descriptions, dialogue, and simply persevering, my new romantic fiction drama, ‘Willow’s Walk’ – which has garnered a 5-star rating by Readers Favorite – is finally finished and into first production stage at CreateSpace Publishing. For those who don’t write the words I have just written in description of the process above would not mean too much by way of understanding; to them the main stay in the writing of a novel is that it will be entertaining and worth their time. But to those who do write, whether it is professionally, or as a hobby, they can definitely understand where I’m coming from. ‘Willow’ has been a long time growing into what she has finally become, and I am once again proud as punch with the final outcome. The new cover, which is to be revealed in the upcoming theatrical trailer, is breathtaking, and projects the story perfectly. I haven’t revealed it in its entirety, but I will give a brief, sneak peek …

WILLOW’S WALK *** COMING FALL 2015!

>> Autumn events have begun, and my first one of the new season is happening on September 19th at the lovely CHAPTERS in Ancaster, Ontario. https://www.facebook.com/chapters.ancaster?fref=ts For those in the Hamilton and surrounding district please come on by, say ‘Hello,’ and get to know me. I really don’t bite – in fact I am known to be quite pleasant. I will be signing limited paperback copies of my riveting 4-star romantic fiction drama, ‘Passions in Paris: Revelations of a Lost Diary’ between the hours of 2 – 5 pm.

I’m still proud as can be of this sweeping romantic fiction drama centered around star-crossed soul mates, Joy Wychmere and Cullen Malone, who again find each other on the cusp of the 21st Century in Paris, only to be cast into the most enduring time of their lives. Can love truly stand the test of time and survive all odds against it?

I’m looking forward to meeting the people of Ancaster! And I hope they, as well as all my readers who haven’t as yet done so, pick up a personally signed copy; it makes a great read for those long winter nights ahead, as well as a great gift for those who love romance on a grand scale.

>> I am very pleased to again be taking part in this year’s Niagara Falls Night of Art, happening on September 24th at the Museum of History and the Farmer’s Market, beginning at 6 pm. https://www.facebook.com/events/896442357102997/ I attended last year’s event, and though it was a chilly night in temperature, the enthusiastic crowd was filled with energy. I will have copies of ‘Passions in Paris’ with me, as well as promotional material for the upcoming ‘Willow’s Walk.’ The lineup of entertainment throughout this evening is most commanding, and I hope those in the area will come on out and lend their support.

October, for me, sounds to be interesting with a book fair on October 24th at The Niagara Falls Library https://www.facebook.com/pages/Niagara-Falls-Public-Library/8352228860 from 10 am to 2 pm., and an exciting upcoming interview conducted by Welland based children’s author, Eleanor Lawrie, whose delightful ‘Shelby F. Squirrel’ series is delighting children and adults alike. Sounds to be great fun, and I’m totally looking forward to it.

As we move into fall, please be reminded that school will be back in, and with this fact, children darting about, so please drive with caution.

I wholeheartedly wish to thank each and every one who endearingly supports my work and me as an author. Each and every gesture you make is ‘greatly’ appreciated!

And as always, support your local authors, as well as all your local talent in the Arts!

Cheers!
Rusty 🙂
