Summer is quickly drawing to a close as August has but three days remaining, including today. I really can’t say that I’m sorry to see it leave as the temperatures have been blistering. If you like hot weather with high humidity, then I’m sure you are sad to see the season coming to an end, though we still have September and October to go through, and each of those months can be hot as well. I love the early fall, and cannot wait for its splendor, and now on with the news of August.

As many of you know, I removed Willow’s Walk from sale in early July for a total refit and revision, and I am happy to report that she will be making her new debut in early September. Totally modified with new additions, and removal of old, Willow is finally what I envisioned her to be. Some might wonder at this, or why an author would take on an undertaking of this kind or size, but a piece of work, regardless of what that might be, must be at the standard that allows the title to carry the author’s name. It is my hope that Willow will not only be received well, but that she will be enjoyed, and the message she carries understood. Willow Sutherland-Crosby is a fictional character, but what she endures because of an unfortunate Internet connection is real, and continues to happen far too often. The online world can be a fascinating place with entertainment, knowledge, and true friendships; but it can also be a place filled with danger, dire straits, and untold horrors.

Willow’s Walk will be carried in trade paperback on all Amazons worldwide, including Amazon.ca, CreateSpace.com, and Barnes and Noble.

She will also be returning in Kindle format at a later date. Please watch for updates on that.

This highly acclaimed, sweeping saga, written in the tradition of Brams Stoker’s, Dracula, and What Dreams May Come by Richard Bass, has been compared to Erich Segals’, Love Story, and Nicholas Sparks’, The Notebook, and has garnered exceptional editorial reviews from Readers’ Favorite:

The book makes you wonder whether soul ties are for real and how love can make people cross social boundaries without thinking. This is a good book. *Beware of explicit sexual content.

As I have been busy with Willow’s refit, writing of my new romantic fiction drama, The Perils of Autumn have been put on hold, but I am looking forward to returning to it very soon.

[The time of year a child is born can often explain the name they are given, and this significant gesture seems to happen more often when the new arrival is a girl. Seasons can play a huge part, as well as the mother’s frame of mind when she gives birth. At twenty six years of age, Abigail Leeves found herself an unwed mother, and totally on her own…] – from ‘The Perils of Autumn’.

I have stated many times how important official Press Releases are, especially if you are a serious writer with intentions of getting your work known worldwide, and they are a must when it comes to getting an author known as well. I try to do one a month, and this undertaking is professionally carried out in a most appealing way by my marketing rep & publicist, Don McCauley, of http://www.freepublicitygroup.com/don/ Don and I have been working together for six years, and I truly admire his guidance, and ability in areas that are most important for an Independent author to gain recognition, and compete in the hectic world of self-publishing. It is my privilege to write these monthly Newsletters. I feel they are a must for helping readers and followers of an author’s work to help stay in the loop, get up to date with the latest happenings, and obtain insight into what is coming. I hope you enjoy this information, and will continue to look forward to receiving it, but for those who don’t and would like to be removed from my mailing list, please contact me at my website or by e-mail, and your request will be carried out.

September will soon be upon us and in doing so school will be back in session. This means children will be once again out and about, often times paying no attention to what is around them. On this note may I remind you of this fact, and ask that you implement extra caution behind the wheel of your vehicle.
