Summer Greeting Everyone, and welcome to my news of June 2020!

Summer is here, and though life continues in a strange manner it continues. I give thanks for internet activities, as no in-person activities are happening yet, so they must take place online. Most people have a computer with access to internet, and for those who do not, I do hope an author’s news is verbally shared by those who do, especially if they know people that are interested in the activities of an author whose work they enjoy and follow.

Speaking of online activity, I did a new interview conducted by All Author, allauthor.comhttp://allauthor.com, comprised of interesting questions that I enjoyed answering. I believe questions like the ones in this interview help readers to better know and understand the author being interviewed. Comments and inquiries are always encouraged, and I will be sure to reply. You may enjoy the interview here: https://allauthor.com/interview/rustyblackwood/?fbclid=IwAR19KF5mXhZmC33TnM4P7l04K1A-H9RyoCdUMBVfm2otnJeyUKQGXS2gpA4

I have also had my latest romantic drama, The Perils of Autumn, a 5-star-award-winning read and now an International Books Awards Finalist in Romance, as well as a Best Book Awards Finalist in Romance by American Book Fest.  I am most pleased to be honored and featured as Book of the Day on June 8th by Awesome Gang which you may find here: https://awesomegang.com/the-perils-of-autumn-by-rusty-blackwood-4/?fbclid=IwAR3aE70Onn4gNzSPoGkIvuIGClSkqJSHkroQxxk5XnMn8yiFKzCYa4LOH2E#more-904203.

*Working cover for Return to Autumn

Return to Autumn, the touching sequel to  The Perils of Autumn is coming right along. I am nearing the end, just a few chapters to go before production begins. I had hoped for a fall release to coincide with the rescheduled September 5th Kentucky Derby, but as it presently stands, the novel will not be released until late this year or possibly early 2021. Do stay tuned for updates as I have them.

Return to Autumn, the engaging follow-up to the 5-star, multi-award-winning, romantic fiction drama, The Perils of Autumn, picks up four year later and sweeps you back to the often-perilous life at Landon Lawns Stables. Life in Landon Manor has carried on for Autumn Leeves-Landon and her mature husband, Cyril, along with their young daughter Abby, and their astute, devoted housekeeper and friend, Agnes Harris.

Life in the thoroughbred stables has also carried on, along with head groom and trainer, Manfred Montgomery, head foreman, William Brown, with their ongoing plight to bring Duff Taylor, Landon Lawns’ exclusive jockey, to justice for his suspicious involvement in a unsolved racing incident that he schemes to keep under wraps. Duff has also managed to add to his growing page of secrets, that of which is about to be revealed, culminating in a life-altering revenge that threatens to ruin Landon Lawns Stables.
