Hope this finds everyone doing well. I must say I am getting SO tired of the continued restrictions disallowing me, as well as all local authors, to promote our work through personal appearances and local events. Some might say I am being selfish to think this way, and they are allowed their opinions – but I do not share those views  as I sit and watch all my hard work and time go down the drain without as much as an ‘I’m sorry” from the government. What we all unselfishly gave seven months ago for “two weeks” in order to not overtax the hospitals,  due to a virus that has turned out to be no worse than a serious flu — in some cases not serious at all — has now become more than ridiculious, especially for a virus with a 99.9% recovery rate — if you even contract it. It is heartbreaking to know that the majority of loss from this was suffered throughout the senior care residences, how unfeeling and unnessary that was. I thank God every day that I was not one that had to watch my parent pass away from the virus brought to them, and in many situations, utter neglect, and this problem — though stated would grow better by the Premier of Ontario — has not grown any better. In the meantime, countless business owners lose their livelyhood without as much as a single word of regret from the government.

I only have to look after myself, as my family is grown with familes of their own WHO also have a family to care for, but it does not diminish my worry for their saftey, their welfare, and their future. I’m sure many of you share these same concerns.

Now, for those who can, and because the “control” continues province wide stopping authors from personally meeting those interested in their work within the walls of a bookstore, I would like to invite anyone that may be interested in obtaining a copy of my latest novel, The Perils of Autumn, do so by ordering it in Paperback and or Hardback at the order-desk of your local Coles, Chapters and Indigo. If you have KOBO, you may download the ebook as well. If you reside in St. Catharines and surrounding district, paperback copies may be obtained at Pen Center Coles, and Chapters at the Fairview Mall.

Those in Ancaster and Stoney Creek may obtain paperback copies at Indigo, Ancaster, and Indigo Heritage Green in Stoney Creek.

I so wish I could be making the rounds to meet you, but until things change, this must do.

This novel, as well as all my assorted titles, are available online at Amazon.com & Amazon.ca and I do hope you will check them out.

Talk to you soon!

Rusty 🙂
