Romantic Indie author Rusty Blackwood’s April Newsletter, 2013!

April is fast growing to a close, one day to go, and then we are officially into May. The weather does not appear to be co-operating in the way one would hope at this time of the year, then again it could always be worse! And besides, the forecast for the week does not look too bad, so hopefully what is predicted, will materialize. Now on to the news of April!

>>> Only one book-signing this month — I’ve only been doing one per month lately as my time is tied up in revisions for Passions in Paris: Revelations of a Lost Diary, so it doesn’t leave a lot of time for anything else. But April 6th. found me in Welland, Ontario at Seaway Mall COLES: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Coles-Seaway-Mall/131913826860148?ref=ts&fref=ts signing copies of ‘Through the Eyes of Innocence’ my second collection of short-stories for children, as well as the young at heart.

It’s always nice to spend time meeting new people, and chatting with familiar ones. I always find the people of Welland to be most gracious with regard to their local authors, and I am not excluded when it comes to this. Take this link to check out this happening:  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rusty-Blackwood/192607652032?fref=ts#!/media/set/?set=a.10151617781612033.1073741825.192607652032&type=1

>>> I will be signing copies of ‘Through the Eyes of Innocence’ on May 4th. at the elegant Fairview Mall CHAPTERS in St. Catharines https://www.facebook.com/ChaptersSt.Catharines?ref=ts&fref=ts at the front of the store from 1 – 4 pm, so come on by and say hello. Who knows, you might be presently surprised by your own memories this collection may conjure.

>>> I have been asked to take part in this year’s Pelham Festival of Books, part of the Grey Borders Literary celebration during the month of June, to be held at the Pelham Public Library in the beautifully artistic village of Fonthill, where I will be reading from my soon-to-be released romance/drama, ‘Passions in Paris: Revelations of a Lost Diary’.
