Waiting For the Release of a New Romance is Like Waiting For a New Love to Arrive at the Door

Apologies for the lengthy title, but it really does describe how I presently feel. Unless you write it’s highly unlikely you would know what I mean, or the reason behind the pairing of an upcoming romance title’s release to that of a new lover’s arrival at the door. But they are, in-fact much the same. Remember the butterflies at large in your stomach, or the climb of your anxiety level with each passing moment? Well, that is somewhat how it feels awaiting the release of a new title be it romance or otherwise, but with me — especially because this new title is, in-part the reincarnation of a previously published title released in two, each carrying the same title but different sub-titles — it is anxiety pushed to the limit, but in a good way. I say this because my new title, soon to be released is like watching the sun rise into a cloudless blue sky instead of a rain-filled vista with nothing but cloud-filled days. By that analogy I mean what the title now is compared to the badly butchered excuse of what it was. Live and learn, as it is said, and this I have done in more ways than one might realize. But with each slip on the ladder I have learnt how to dig my heels in firmer and  continue to climb. If you love to write you do this, and you do so knowing that as long as you give it your best effort in every possible way, sooner or later you will achieve what you’re after, and should you not, then you can at least bask in the realization that you have given it your best shot, and no-one can alter this achievement regardless of how much they may try.

And as always, support your local authors as well as all your talent in the Arts!
